Keynote: The quality of relationships makes all the difference to the quality of our lives – at school, at work and at home. So what does a quality relationship look like and how do we learn the understanding and skills that enable us to establish and maintain a healthy relationship and deal with conflict well when it occurs?
This keynote is based on evidence-based practice and practice-based evidence. We will be focusing both on the micro-moments of interaction and the level of social capital within the environments in which we work. Sue will share experiences that demonstrate how these matter for life satisfaction, resilience, wellbeing and a positive climate for learning.
There will be a choice of afternoon Workshops on the theme of positive relationships including:
- Incorporating special time into ELSA & Nurture Group sessions
- Building relationships with children through drawing
- How the PACE model (playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy) can be used within ELSA & Nurture Group sessions
- Lego Therapy – part 2
